1) republic day speech English for teacher

I would like to greet my respected Principal, teacher, teacher, and all my classmates in the morning. As we all know, all of us have gathered here to celebrate 66th Republic Day of our nation. This is a very good opportunity for all of us. From 1950, we celebrate Republic Day every year with great joy and joy. Prior to the start of the festival, our chief guest hoisted the national flag of the country. After this we all stand and sing national anthem which is a symbol of India's unity and peace. Our national anthem has been written by great poet Rabindranath Tagore. In our national flag there is a circle in the middle with three colors and 24 equal plates. All three colors of the Indian National Flag have its own meaning. The saffron color on the top shows the strength and courage of our country. The white color of the middle represents peace, whereas the green color below indicates growth and prosperity. In the middle of the flag is a navy blue circle with 24 equal plates, which displays the noble king Ashoka's religion cycle. We celebrate Republic Day on January 26, because in 1950 only the Indian Constitution came into existence on this day. In the Republic Day celebration, a big event is organized by the Government of India on the Rajpath in New Delhi in front of India Gate. Every year, to increase the brightness of this celebration, a main guest (Prime Minister of the country) is called to fulfill the purpose of the statement of "Guest Devo Bhava:". Indian Army salutes the National Flag with parade on this occasion. In India, a large exhibition of Indian culture and tradition is also displayed by different states to show unity in diversity.

2) republic day speech in English for nursery students

Hello everyone in the morning My name is Anant Shrivastav and I read in class 6. As we all know that we are all gathered here on a very special occasion of our nation, which is called Republic Day. I want to read the speech on Republic Day in front of everyone. First of all, I would like to thank my class teacher because of which I received a great opportunity to say something about my beloved country on this great occasion of Republic Day on this stage of my school.India is a self-governing country since August 15, 1947. India gained independence from the British rule on August 15, 1947, which we celebrate as Independence Day. However, we celebrate Republic Day from 1950 to 26 January. The Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950, so we celebrate this day every year as a Republic Day. This year in 2015, we are celebrating 66th Republic Day of India. The Republic means that only the people have the right to choose their representative as the political leader for the supreme power of the people living in the country and for the leadership of the country in the right direction. Therefore, India is a republic country where the public chooses its leader as the Prime Minister. Our great Indian freedom fighters fought a lot for "full swaraj" in India. He sacrificed his life so that his future generation would not have to struggle and take that country forward. The great leaders and freedom fighters of our country are Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri etc. In order to make India an independent country, these people fought continuously against the British. We can never forget their dedication to our country. We should give salute to them on such great occasions. Only because of these people, it was possible that we can think from our mind and remain free in our nation without any pressure. Our first Indian President was Dr. Rajendra Prasad who said, "Under the jurisdiction of a constitution and a union, we have got the entire part of this vast land together, which is more than 320 million men and women living here, Takes responsibility for welfare ". How shameful it is to say that we are still fighting crime, corruption and violence in our country (in the form of terrorism, rape, theft, riots, strike etc.). Again, to save the country from such slavery everyone needs to be together because it is pulling the country back to its mainstream of development and progress. To go ahead and solve them, we should be aware of our social issues like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, global warming, inequality etc.Dr. Abdul Kalam has said that "If a country is free of corruption and becomes a nation of beautiful mind, I strongly feel that there are three main members who can create the difference. She is father, mother and a guru ". As a citizen of India, we should seriously think about it and make every possible effort to pursue our country.Thank you, Jai Hind.

3) republic day welcome speech in English

My respected Principal Madam, my respected Sir and Madam and all my classmates greeted me in the morning. I would like to thank you for giving such a great opportunity to say something on our Republic Day. My name is Anant Shrivastav and I read in class 6.Today, all of us have gathered here to celebrate the 66th Republic Day of our nation. This is a great and auspicious opportunity for all of us. We should congratulate each other and pray to God for the development and prosperity of our nation. Every year on January 26, we celebrate Republic Day in India because the Constitution of India came into force on this day. We have been continuously celebrating Republic Day of India since the 1950s because on January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into force.India is a democratic country where public is authorized to choose its leader for leadership of the country. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of India. Since independence from British rule in 1947, our country has developed a lot and has started counting among the powerful countries. With development, some drawbacks have also arisen, such as inequality, poverty, unemployment, corruption and illiteracy etc. To make our country the best country in the world, we need to take pledge today to solve such problems in society.Thank you, Jai Hind!
